You've guessed it, it's not Lingua Road. That's just a name I came up with for my business. What I do has to do with language, and language takes you to places. The way roads do.
My name is Attila. Like Attila the Hun. Except I’m no barbarian. That's me with a laptop, see?
Ever since I was a teenager, my life has centred around English. Pop lyrics got me started and I never looked back. I went to uni, then taught as a freelancer for 18 years straight – first in Budapest, then in Vienna, where I still live today.
In my mid-twenties, I tried my hand at journalism and translation, and I've been doing them off and on since then. A few years ago, I wrote a novel, then worked as a content writer at a small agency for almost three years. Now I’m back to freelancing, offering what I’ve gained experience in over the past 25+ years: content writing, proofreading, translation and communication support for clear, natural English.
I'm easy to work with and have a sense of humour, but I also take what I do - working on your project, that is - seriously.
