Proofreading and editing
Proofreading identifies and corrects typos, spelling and grammatical mistakes, punctuation errors and wrong formatting.
Editing focuses on the content, structure and style of your text. It’s about readability, clarity and consistency, e.g. using the same tone throughout the text.
Ideally, you do both.
